Tannhäuser
In the 2025 festival season, the Bayreuth Festival will present a version of Richard Wagner’s “Tannhäuser” specially created for children as part of the “Wagner for Children” project. As in previous years, the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt (Oder) will perform.
The premiere of the children’s opera will take place on 25 July 2025 at 11 a.m. on rehearsal stage 4 at the Bayreuth Festival. Nine further performances will follow until 3 August 2025.
