You can order tickets for the Bayreuth Festival by post or online.
Start of advance booking
We will start processing ticket orders for the 2017 Bayreuth Festival on 15th October 2016. Please place your order by 15th October at the latest.
Ordering by post using the order form
If you wish to order by post, please request the order forms for the 2017 Festival from the ticket office. Please send the completed form to the ticket office by 15th October 2016.

If you order by post, please fill out the order forms clearly and completely. This will expedite the processing of your request. Orders cannot be processed and are invalid if the form has been changed or if the field specifications have not been observed.
If you have already ordered tickets, you will receive the order form every year automatically – including personal access to online ordering at www.bayreuther-festspiele.de. If you register with this access data, your previous order and waiting times — just as with the written order — will be taken fully into account.
The processing fee for every postal order is 6 euros. This fee is waived for successful online orders.
The processing fee for every invoiced ticket is 2 euro.
We only accept payments for tickets in euros. Orders by post can only be paid for by bank transfer or credit card.
Please note that if you have not received an invoice by 15th January 2017, this means that your order could not processed. A separate cancellation notice will not be sent.
It should be noted that in most cases, we will only be able to process your order after several years of waiting, as the number of ticket orders far exceeds the allotted number of tickets.
Entrance tickets will be sent out after payment is received by the end of May 2017 at the latest.
