INTRODUCTORY TALKS ON PRODUCTIONS 2024
Entertaining, not academic. Beneath the surface, but with humor: Dr. Sven Friedrich will also give his production-related introductory lectures during the 2024 festival season. Thus, you will already have the opportunity in the morning to gain insights into the staging of the evening.
The speaker, Dr. Sven Friedrich, has been the director of the Richard Wagner Museum with National Archive and Research Center of the Richard Wagner Foundation – located in Wagner’s Wahnfried residence – since 1993. He is considered a competent speaker and author on all areas of Richard Wagner research and publicity.
The introductory lectures, lasting approximately one hour, are organized by BF Medien GmbH for the Bayreuth Festival and will take place on all performance days at 10:30 a.m. during the 2024 Festival summer. The ticket for the evening’s performance entitles you to attend the introductory lecture free of charge; it is also possible and free for all holders of a performance ticket for this season.
