INTRODUCTORY TALKS ON PRODUCTIONS 2024
Due to illness, Dr. Sven Friedrich is unfortunately unable to give the introductory lectures in the Festspielhaus. We are very grateful to Dr. Frank Piontek for taking over the introductory lectures at short notice on the respective day of the performance at 10.30 a.m. in the Festspielhaus.
The introductory lectures, lasting approximately one hour, are organized by BF Medien GmbH for the Bayreuth Festival and will take place on all performance days at 10:30 a.m. during the 2024 Festival summer. The ticket for the evening’s performance entitles you to attend the introductory lecture free of charge; it is also possible and free for all holders of a performance ticket for this season.
You also have the option of watching the introductory lectures as a video recording using the QR code or link located on your online ticket. The introductory lectures of the premiere series will be available online as a video promptly after the premieres.
The lectures will be held in german.
