PARSIFAL

In the 2023 festival season, the Bayreuth Festival presented a version of Richard Wagner’s “Parsifal” specially created for children as part of the “Wagner for Children” project. As in previous years, the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt (Oder) cooperated as our orchestra for this project.

The premiere of the children’s opera took place on 25 July 2023 at 11 a.m. on the Bayreuth Festival’s Rehearsal Stage 4. Nine further performances followed until 4 August 2023.

Wagner for Children 2024

The Flying Dutchman

Richard Wagner’s “The Flying Dutchman” for children celebrates its premiere on 25th of July 2024 at 11 a.m. on Rehearsal Stage 4 at the Bayreuth Festival!

The dates of the 9 other performances will be announced at the end of April 2024.

Education projects can register for tickets from 3rd of May 2024 by emailing verwaltung@bf-medien.de

The registration portal kinderoper.bf-medien.de will open on 13th of May 2024 at 14:00, where you can apply for tickets for your preferred date.
