Since 2019, the artist sings the role of Wolfram in the current production of Tannhäuser by Tobias Kratzer. In the same year he celebrated his debut at the New York Metropolitan Opera as Faninal in Der Rosenkavalier. Guest contracts followed at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich with Luther in Krenek's Karl V and Music Teacher in Ariadne auf Naxos, Britten's Death in Venice at the Stuttgart State Opera and Count in Capriccio at the Zurich Opera House.

Particularly outstanding projects were the title role in Cardillac and Kunrad in Strauss' Feuersnot at the Bavarian Radio, Munich (including CD production); Bluebeard in Bluebeard's Castle with the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra; Fritz and Frank in a revival of Die tote Stadt at the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki with DVD recording; Lescaut in a new production of Puccini's Manon Lescaut at the Bavarian State Opera with Kristine Opolais and Jonas Kaufmann; and Golaud in a new production of Debussy's Pelléas et Mélisande.

His busy concert schedule has taken him to the BR, NDR, MDR, SWR, BBC, RFO, Dortmund Philharmonic, Belgrade Philharmonic, Gürzenich Orchestra, Gaechinger Cantorey, Munich Bach Choir, Talens Lyriques and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, among others.
