Johannes Martin Kränzle is unfortunately unable to sing the part of ‘Sixtus Beckmesser’ in the revival of “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” today due to illness. Bo Skovhus will sing from the side, while Kränzle will perform the part scenically. The Bayreuth Festival thanks Bo Skovhus for his willingness to step into Barrie Kosky’s production at such short notice.
