In the 2025 festival season, Bayreuth Festival will present a version of Richard Wagner’s “Tannhäuser” specially created for children as part of the “Wagner for Children” project. As in previous years, the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt (Oder) will perform the music.

The children’s opera will premiere on July 25, 2025 at 11 a.m. on rehearsal stage 4 of Bayreuth Festival. Nine further performances will follow until August 03, 2025.
