The 2024 festival season will feature a new production of “Tristan & Isolde”, directed by Thorleifur Örn Arnarsson, conducted by Semyon Bychkov, with Andreas Schager as Tristan and Camilla Nylund as Isolde. The “Ring des Nibelungen” will be conducted by Philippe Jordan in 2024, with Klaus Florian Vogt taking on both Siegfried roles. Tannhäuser will also be performed in the 2024 festival season, again with Nathalie Stutzmann as conductor. In 2025, there will be a new production of “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg”, directed by Matthias Davids, conducted by Daniele Gatti, with Georg Zeppenfeld as Hans Sachs and Michael Spyres as Walther von Stolzing. The performance schedule and casts for the 2024 season will be announced at the end of August 2023. There will be no further price increases in the upcoming season.
