At Goldbergsee, musicians of the Festival Orchestra once held their famous summer serenades. With the TAFF Festival Night at Goldbergsee, Bayreuth Festival will revive this tradition of bygone times on August 15, 2021.
Around 45 members of the Festival Orchestra and soloists from Bayreuth Festival will perform in Marktschorgast under the musical direction of Daniel Geiss and staged by José Cortes. The soloists for the evening include Klaus Florian Vogt, Daniela Köhler, Armin Kolarczyk, Jens-Erik Aasbø, and Attilio Glaser. They will sing highlights from, among others, “Tristan und Isolde”, “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg”, and “Der fliegende Holländer”.
