Farewell

Die sogenannten Pausenmusiker zum ersten Mal auf den Balkon des Festspielhauses

The Bayreuth Festival 2019 are gradually drawing to a close. Only six performances remain on the schedule.

This year, we must finally bid farewell to two productions. On August 26, Wagner’s “farewell work”, “Parsifal”, will be performed for the last time under the musical direction of Semyon Bychkov and interpreted by Uwe Eric Laufenberg. On August 28, the curtain will rise for the final performance of “Tristan und Isolde”, directed by Katharina Wagner and under the musical direction of Christian Thielemann. Once again, Petra Lang as Isolde and Stephen Gould as Tristan will be on the stage of the Festspielhaus.

The last chance: Remaining tickets from returns are available both in the Bayreuth Festival Ticket Shop and at the Box Office in the Ticket Office (open daily from 10 AM to 12 PM and from 2 PM to 4 PM).
