Condolences from the RING Team
On March 27, World Theatre Day, Bayreuth Festival received the following letter from the RING team:
As the production collective of the Ring des Nibelungen at the Bayreuth Festival, we hereby express our grief, shock, and disbelief at the tragic deaths of Oleg Bryjak, Maria Radner, and the many other people.
We met Oleg Bryjak last summer when he quickly familiarized himself with the Ring production and ultimately amazed and convinced us all with his great skill and professionalism. He was always a friendly and good-humored colleague. We deeply regret that we cannot continue working with him this year, as well as the sad fact that we will not get to know Maria Radner.
We extend our sincere condolences to the bereaved.
