As part of the 2023 festival season, Dr. Sven Friedrich will again give his production-related introductory lectures. This will give you the opportunity to gain insights into the evening’s production as early as in the morning. The approximately one-hour introductory lectures are organized by BF Medien GmbH for the Bayreuth Festival and made possible by the Gesellschaft der Freunde von Bayreuth e.V.. They will take place on all performance days at 10:30 a.m. in the Festspielhaus. The ticket for the evening’s performance entitles the holder to attend the introductory lecture free of charge; for the first time, attendance is also possible and free for all holders of a performance ticket for this season. It is also possible to view the introductory lectures as a video recording using the QR code or link located on your online ticket.
