A large stage at the foot of the Festival Hill, the Bayreuth Festival orchestra under conductor Markus Poschner and on the programme: music that, in the spirit of Richard Wagner, pushed the boundaries of its time and created something new. Musical pieces, arias, and duets from Richard Wagner, Dmitri Shostakovich, Alban Berg, Kurt Weill, Giuseppe Verdi to Aerosmith. Picnic atmosphere on a warm summer night and a music program full of discoveries.
