The festival management is pleased to announce the casting of John Lundgren as Wotan in “The Walküre” and Wanderer in “Siegfried” in the new “Ring des Nibelungen” 2022. Katharina Wagner extends her sincere thanks to John Lundgren for his willingness to take on both roles at short notice and immediately join the rehearsal process. The casting of Wotan in “The Rheingold” will be announced at a later date.
