Unique insights and extraordinary photo opportunities on the Green Hill: Bayreuth Festival are opening their doors for the first time to Instagrammers and cultural-digital natives.
On July 22, 2017, we invite you to a special backstage tour through the Festspielhaus: a place steeped in myth, created by the composer himself, the world’s most legendary orchestra pit, and a stage where the history of theater was rewritten – and still is. On and behind the stage, we will show how Bayreuth Festival works. This includes a visit to the dress rehearsal of “Götterdämmerung” in the production by Frank Castorf, the theater man of the hour, and an introduction at the “Rheingold” bar by his congenial stage designer Aleksandar Denić.
Registration until July 14
Participation is free. A prerequisite is an active Instagram account. Ten participants will be invited from all interested parties. Registration is via: socialmedia@bayreuther-festspiele.de.
