The collaboration between the Bayreuth Festival and Deutsche Grammophon is being intensified: Starting this autumn, the entire Ring cycle will be available online via stream on a newly developed virtual stage! In addition to Oksana Lyniv, who will also conduct the “Flying Holländer” in 2023, we welcome a second female conductor to the Green Hill for the first time, Nathalie Stutzmann, who will conduct the revival of “Tannhäuser” in 2023. Additional revivals on the 2023 schedule: “The Ring des Nibelungen”, “The Flying Holländer” & “Tristan & Isolde.” Pablo Heras-Casado will conduct the new production “Parsifal”, Joseph Calleja will make his role debut as Parsifal alongside Ekaterina Semenchuk as Kundry and Georg Zeppenfeld as Gurnemanz.
