The online ticket request procedure for the 2027 Bayreuth Festival ends on 12 October 2026. Anyone wishing to attend the upcoming Festival Season on the Green Hill therefore has only a few days left to submit their ticket requests online.
For the first time, two new productions will be presented as part of the Bayreuth Festival programme in 2027.
“Lohengrin” will be presented as a new production directed by Ilaria Lanzino, with Tarmo Peltokoski conducting. The principal roles will be performed by Michael Spyres (Lohengrin), Elsa Dreisig (Elsa), Jordan Shanahan (Friedrich von Telramund) and Judit Kutasi (Ortrud).
“Parsifal” will also be presented as a new production in 2027. The production will be directed by Ersan Mondtag, with Christian Thielemann conducting. The principal roles include Michael Volle (Amfortas), Mika Kares (Gurnemanz), Christopher Sokolowski / Piotr Beczała (Parsifal) and Michèle Losier (Kundry).
The 2027 programme will also feature the revivals of “Tannhäuser” and “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg.”
