Originally we had announced the sending of the order documents for this year’s season for January 2021. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its current development, we are not yet in a position to make a binding ticket allocation, as the number of visitors cannot yet be confirmed by the approving authorities. We therefore have to react flexibly this year to the further infection and the official requirements, which is why we will not be sending out any order documents by post this year.

Tickets for the Bayreuth Festival 2021 will be offered exclusively via online instant purchase. We will endeavor to give preference to customers who had received a ticket allocation in the 2020 season and had waived their right to a refund. We will inform you about the date of the beginning of the sale and we ask for your patience. All information about the online instant purchase will be published on our homepage www.bayreuther-festspiele.de.
