For the fourth time, the Siemens Festival Night is taking place today at the festival grounds in Bayreuth, having already achieved “cult status”.
When the broadcast of the brand-new DVD “Richard Wagner for Children – The Ring des Nibelungen” began at 11 AM, over 2,500 visitors had already taken their seats to experience the start of the Siemens Festival Night. The entire square has been bustling with activity since the morning. In summery temperatures, Festival Director Katharina Wagner warmly welcomed the young and old guests. Later in the afternoon, the Wagner Experience Trail opened, presenting itself even larger and more diverse than last year.
