Invoices for Tickets to the 2019 Bayreuth Festival

Bayreuth Festival has started sending out invoices for tickets to the next festival. All purchasers whose requests could be accommodated in the automatic allocation process will receive the good news either by email or by postal mail.

A large majority of festival enthusiasts opted for the so-called standard procedure, where invoices are made available online in the respective customer account under “My Festival” for viewing, downloading, and printing. Only approximately 3,000 of the total around 11,500 invoices are sent to purchasers via conventional, fee-based postal delivery. On average, one invoice includes four tickets.

The payment deadline for the invoice amount is three weeks from the invoice date. After full payment, tickets for the standard procedure can be accessed and printed from June 15, 2019, in the purchaser’s personal login area – “My Festival” – after successful personalization. If postal delivery was chosen, the tickets will be sent in printed form from June 15, 2019.

New for 2019 is the requirement to personalize all tickets with the first and last name of the specific user. Online, this is possible for the standard procedure from June 15, 2019, up to seven calendar days before the respective performance. Those who chose postal delivery of tickets can carry out the personalization either by means of the sent form (return by May 3, 2019, at the latest) or online in their customer account under “My Festival” (from February 14, 2019, until June 14, 2019, at the latest).

Unfortunately, not all requests will be fulfillable for the coming year either. If no invoice has been received by mid-February 2019, the order must be considered unsuccessful. Participants in the standard procedure should check both their spam folder and their login area “My Festival” for security.

However, for all those who missed out and did not receive tickets, there is still the possibility to participate in the online instant purchase, which is expected to take place in March 2019. More detailed information will be provided on this at a later date.
