Uwe Eric Laufenberg will take over the new production of “Parsifal” in 2016. Gisbert Jäkel will design the stage set, and Jessica Karge the costumes.
“His concept offers an interpretation of the work that is as sophisticated as it is theatrically captivating”, says Katharina Wagner, “which is also organizationally, technically, and financially feasible. We all look forward to the collaboration with great anticipation.”
