Johannes Martin Kränzle is unfortunately unable to sing the role of “Sixtus Beckmesser” in the revival of “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” today due to illness. Bo Skovhus will sing from the side, while Kränzle will stage the role. The Bayreuth Festival thank Bo Skovhus for his willingness to step in at such short notice for Barrie Kosky‘s production.
