Hannah Rosa Oellinger designs costumes, stages and films. Together with Manfred Rainer, she has staged operas in lorries, on pedal boats in swimming pools and on the lower stage of the Theater an der Wien. Her stage designs include egg-laying wigs, remote-controlled houses and three ladies sharing a crinoline. Her sets have included the stage design for Prosperina at the Neue Oper Wien, which was sunk into the orchestra pit, Die Zauberflöte at the National Opera of Lorraine, and a theatre tour of the decommissioned Zwentendorf nuclear power plant. In the 2022/23 season, she worked at the opera houses in Nancy, Montpellier, Dortmund and Magdeburg.
