Johannes Martin Kränzle is unfortunately unable to sing the role of “Sixtus Beckmesser” in the second performance of “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” tomorrow due to illness. Bo Skovhus will perform the role dramatically and musically. The Bayreuth Festival thanks Bo Skovhus for his willingness to step in again for Barrie Kosky‘s production and sincerely wishes Johannes Martin Kränzle a swift recovery.
