It is with great sadness that the Bayreuth Festival learned of the death of baritone Sandor Solyom-Nagy. The artist, internationally acclaimed especially as a Wagner interpreter, was continuously associated with the Bayreuth Festival from 1981 to 2002 and performed in a total of 238 performances in Bayreuth. Our deepest condolences go out to his family.
