Effective immediately, written and online orders for Bayreuth Festival 2016 can be placed.
Order forms for the 2016 festival season are currently being dispatched. Online orders can be placed on the Bayreuth Festival website (www.bayreuther-festspiele.de).
Processing of written and online orders will begin on September 14, 2015. All interested parties should therefore submit their orders so that they reach the ticket office by September 14, 2015, at the latest.
As was the case for 2015, in the advance ticket sales for 2016, a portion of the tickets for each of the 30 performances will be allocated for written and online orders, taking into account previous waiting times, while another portion, independent of waiting times, will be sold as “first-come, first-served” online instant-purchase tickets. Their sale will start on January 31, 2016.
The Bayreuth Festival 2016 program includes, in addition to the new production Parsifal , revivals of Tristan und Isolde, The Flying Holländer and The Ring des Nibelungen.
