The management of Bayreuth Festival is pleased that KS Evelyn Herlitzius will take on the role of Isolde in the new production of “Tristan und Isolde” at the Bayreuth Festival 2015 at short notice.
Evelyn Herlitzius made her debut at the Bayreuth Festival in 2002 as Brünnhilde in “Ring des Nibelungen”, a role she also sang in 2003 and 2004. In 2006 and 2007, she returned as Kundry (“Parsifal”) and in 2010 as Ortrud in the new production of “Lohengrin”.
