Due to a technical malfunction in the stage machinery, the 1st act of “Tannhäuser” had to be interrupted shortly after the overture to ensure the safety of the performers. The performance continued without the “cage” rides. In the meantime, the issue was resolved by the start of the 2nd act. Overall, the performance was delayed by approximately 1 hour!
