On February 12, 2017, at 2 PM, ticket sales for the Bayreuth Festival 2017 will begin via immediate online purchase, meaning without the often long waiting times.
As in 2016, tickets for all performances of this year’s festival will be available online. Through the sales portal on the Bayreuth Festival homepage (www.bayreuther-festspiele.de), every interested party can obtain tickets. Per purchase transaction, a total of up to 4 tickets for one or more individual works (Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Tristan und Isolde, Parsifal, Walküre IV) and/or up to 2 tickets for the tetralogy Der Ring des Nibelungen can be acquired. The online instant-purchase tickets will be sent to the buyer as a PDF file via email for printing from April 18, 2017.
Since all interested parties who ordered tickets in writing or online last autumn and have not yet received an invoice must assume that their order could not be fulfilled, they now have a second chance to acquire tickets directly.
To save time and thus improve the chance of a successful ticket purchase, pre-registration as a prospective buyer in the ticket shop is possible until Friday, February 10, 2017, at www.bayreuther-festspiele.de.
