Arriving by car

Extremely easy to reach by car, Bayreuth lies on the A9 connecting
Munich and Berlin. If coming from the north, take the exit marked
'Bayreuth-Nord' and then follow the signs to the town centre
('Stadtmitte') or the Festspielhaus. If coming from the south, take the exit
marked 'Bayreuth-Süd' and then follow the signs to the Festspielhaus.
Once you have reached the theatre, you will find ample free parking
further up the hill. To the north of Bayreuth the A70 connects the town
with the A7 at Schweinfurt to the west and with the A3 at Würzburg.
